Hi Susanne, the stars in the trees are pre-cut as this set of cards is a kit that has everything cut and ready for you to assemble to way you want. It's a fun kit!

I used Cherry Cobbler, Wild Wasabi, Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay. The more layers of color you watercolor on, the darker it gets.

What did you use to attach the snowflakes? Glue dots or liquid glue from SU?

I used glue dots and tried to cover them with the sequins or other accessories so you can see them. You really only need a few here and there!
