I am posting today’s post at 1:11 a.m. on 1/11/11! I thought I would take advantage of that time & date because it won’t happen again for a loooooooog time! Today’s post is a card I created for a challenge amongst the demonstrators in my group. We have a private challenge just for us that we submit to our Stampin’ Up! website called “Stampin’ Connection”. This is my card: I actually took 2 pieces of cardstock, “Real Red” and “Very Vanilla”, and embossed them with the “Framed Tulips Impressions Folder” and they sit adjoined side-by-side on a “Bashful Blue” background layer. I’ve separated the cut in the middle with a strip of “Crumb Cake” cut out with the “Eyelet Border Punch”. The little line of hearts and the “LOVE” stamped images are from “Valentine Defined” which can be purchased from the new “Occasions Mini Catalog”. I inked the images with “Real Red” and “Crumb Cake” inks. The 2 hearts were stamped in “Real Red” and “Bashful Blue” inks and I then sponged the edges with “Crumb Cake” ink. The stamped heart image is from the “Punch Potpourri” stamp set. I then used my “Full Heart Punch” for their heart shape. Have you seen anything you would like to order yet from the “Occasions Mini Catalog”. I’ve shown quite a few samples in the past 2 weeks to hopefully want to get your creative juices going!
