Thank You Theme!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Connie & Mary! Something that I always keep plenty on hand are thank you cards. It’s so easy to pop one in the mail when they are all created and right at your fingertips. Today’s theme is just that, thank you projects.
I used a new collection of products that debuted on November 1st. I love our Fitting Florets Collection of products and this is the card I created for you this week:

I love, love the oval dies. Who doesn’t like ovals? I used two of them for this card. I also added some Gilded Leafing on the designer paper:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Framed Florets
- Inks: Evening Evergreen, VersaMark
- Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Blushing Bride. Soft Succulent, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Fitting Florets
- Tools & Accessories: Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon, Gilded Leafing, Heat & Stick Powder, Heat Tool, Framed Florets Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Blender Pen, Mini Glue Dots
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Evening Evergreen Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer #2: Fitting Florals Designer Paper 5-1/4″ x 4″. Stamp the branch image repeatedly with VersaMark Ink on the left side and sprinkle with Heat & Stick Powder. Melt with a Heat Tool. Press the Gilded Leafing on the Heat & Stick Powder and brush off excess. Glue to card base.
- Layer #3: Use the large oval to cut with Brushing Bride Cardstock. Glue to the right side of the card flat.
- Layer #4: Use the smallest oval with Soft Succulent Cardstock. Keep the smallest oval that is cut from the two and stamp the sentiment in the center using Evening Evergreen Ink. Glue to the center of the first oval.
- Flowers: Stamp the flower image on Basic White Cardstock with Evening Evergreen Ink. Use a Blender Pen to color with the inked lines. Glue to the left of the oval using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bow: Create a triple bow with the Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon. Glue to the right of the flowers with Mini Glue Dots.

I love the pink and green combo! For Layer #2, I assume you have to stamp the image in Versamark ink in order to use the Heat & Stick Powder? Have a great weekend!
Yes that’s correct!
