I Think I Love You Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Connie & Mary! I love our new Hot Air Balloon Bundle because the set includes Valentine’s themed sentiments. I loved building my hot air balloons with stamps and dies too!
And what about the pretty clouds? It’s easy to cut 2 sizes of clouds with one run and makes it easy to cut multiples. On this card I used 5 clouds glued over the hot air balloons with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Hot Air Balloon
- Inks: Bubble Bath, Poppy Parade
- Cardstock: Bubble Bath, Poppy Parade, Basic White, Balmy Blue
- Tools & Accessories: Hot Air Balloon Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, Iridescent Foil Gems
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Poppy Parade Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: Bubble Bath Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″. Follow these steps:
- Stamp the sentiment with Poppy Parade Ink on the left side in the center.
- Stamp the hot air balloon image repeatedly with Bubble Bath Ink.
- Use the dies to cut the hot air balloon layers with Poppy Parade Cardstock and glue to each ballon
- Use the 2 clouds dies and cut 5 total with Balmy Blue Cardstock. Glue with Mini Stampin’ Dimenisonals.
- Glue cardstock layer to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Iridescent Foil Gems to the background.
