Gratitude Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Connie & Mary! It’s November and that means Thanksgiving is around the corner so this week is all about Gratitude!
I created this beautiful Stand-Up Fancy Fold using the Cup Of Tea Bundle, Tea Boutique Designer Paper and Framed Floret’s Dies. Isn’t the designer paper beautiful on all of my sections?
And it does fold flat for mailing. The closed measurements of the card are exactly 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″.
Card Supplies:
- Stamps: Cup Of Tea
- Inks: Shaded Spruce, Parakeet Party, Sweet Sorbet
- Cardstock: Sweet Sorbet, Basic White, Crushed Curry
- Designer Paper: Tea Boutique
- Tools & Accessories: Framed Florets Dies, Teacup Dies, Champagne Rhinestone Jewels, Linen Thread, Real Red & Garden Green 3/8″ Ribbon Combo Pack, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Sweet Sorbet Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 2-1/4″, 3-5/8″, 7-3/8″ and 8-3/4″. Fold the shape as shown in the photos.
- Designer Papers: I used three patterns as follows and glue to each section:
- (2) 4″ x 2″
- (2) 4″ x 1″
- (1) 4″ x 3-1/2″
- Frame: Cut one frame using the Framed Florets Dies and Basic White Cardstock and follow these steps:
- Outside Frame Steps:
- Wrap a piece of the green ribbon around the frame and tie Linen Thread around the ribbon. Cut the ends at an angle.
- Glue frame to card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Inside Frame Steps:
- Stamp the teacup image on Crushed Curry Cardstock with Shaded Spruce Ink. Cut with the coordinating die. Glue to the bottom of the oval using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp the sentiment above the teacup with Parakeet Party Ink.
- Stamp the tag on Basic White Cardstock with Sweet Sorbet Ink. Cut with the die. Add Linen Thread to the back and secure to the inside of the teacup with Mini Glue Dots. Glue to teacup.
- Stamp 4 flowers with Sweet Sorbet Ink. Stamp twice each time for a lighter color. Cut with the coordinating die and glue as shown in the photo with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Add Champagne Rhinestone Jewels to each flower.
- Outside Frame Steps:
