Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop

You Are What You Eat!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends.  I hope you have been enjoying the release of our new Mini Catalog. I’m using a few of those products today. Can you spy on my card, what is edible?

I’ve been using the Fern & Flora Bundle and Moonlit Flora Designer Paper a LOT because of the curly fern. That curly fern is found in Maine and we eat them. They are called fiddleheads. Most people boil them and slather butter on top like I do, while others use vinegar. I just used my last bag out of the freezer this past week and they should be ready for picking within a week or so.

Aren’t the curly ferns cute on my card? And what about those Dreamy Flowers?

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

  • Stamps: Fern & Flora
  • Inks: Garden Green
  • Cardstock: Garden Green, Golden Glow, Soft Sea Foam
  • Designer Paper: Moonlit Flora
  • Tools & Accessories: Fern & Flora Dies, Sweet Words & Labels Dies, Cloud Cover Textured Ribbon, Dreamy Flowers, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals

Card Recipe:

  • Card Base: Garden Green Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
  • Layer 2: Golden Glow Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
  • Layer 3: Moonlit Flora Designer Paper 4-3/4 x 3-1/2. Set aside.
  • Ribbon: Wrap the ribbon around the designer paper and tie into a knot on the left side. Trim ribbon ends at an angle. Glue layer to card front.
  • Label: Cut the label shape with Golden Glow Cardstock and the Sweet Words & Labels Dies. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Ferns: Use the fiddlehead die to cut 2 with Garden Green Cardstocl. Glue to label with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals under the head and flat on the stems.
  • Sentiment: Soft Sea Foam Cardstock 1-1/4 x 1/2. Stamp the sentiment with Garden Green Ink. Glue to the right of the fiddleheads with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Bling: Add Dreamy Flowers on the label around the fiddleheads.
