Winter Friends Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. This week is all about critters. We can’t forget about our critters and pets during Christmas and that’s what I am showing you on today’s card using the Christmas Friends Bundle:
My little critters are even making their own music!
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Christmas Friends
- Inks: Bsic Gray
- Stampin’Blends: Real Red, Old Olive
- Cardstock: Old Olive, Smoky Slate, Basic Gray
- Designer Paper: Take A Bow
- Tools & Accessories: Christmas Friends Dies, Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Old Olive Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Take A Bow Designer Paper 4-1/4 x 3-1/2. Cut diagonally from the top left corner down to 1″ from the bottom. Place over the card base and draw a pencil line to trace the diagonal before gluing.
- Trees: Stamp the trees over the diagonal line with Basic Gray Ink and glue the designer paper in place.
- Trim: Glue the silver trim at the top of the designer paper.
- Circle: Designer Paper 3-1/2 x 3-1/2. Tear two strips of Basic White Cardstock and glue to the bottom layered. Use the large circle die to cut through the layers. Glue to card front.
- Trees: Stamp 3 more trees on Old Olive Cardstock with Basic Gray Ink. Cut with the die. Glue to background tucked under the snow.
- Critters: Stamp the owl on Smoky Slate Cardstock and the mouse on Basic Gray Cardstock, both with Basic Gray Ink. Cut with the dies. Color the hat, book and bow with Stampin’ Blends. Glue to circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Old Olive Cardstock 2-1/4 x 1/2 with Basic Gray Ink. Glue to the left side below the circle.
- Bling: Add Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the background.
- Bubble: Cut a bubble with the die and Basic White. Cut two music notes with Basic Gray Cardstock and glue to bubble. Glue the bubble above the critters with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
