Repetitive Background Theme!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. I have some new products to show you today that will be available in our new Mini Catalog starting in May! I used the Just Peachy stamp set for my repetitive background on a pretty label from the Sweet Words & Labels Dies:

The peaches were stamped with 3 colors. First I started with Lemon Lolly as my base layer, followed by Timid Tiger and the pit in the center is Pecan Pie.
The dry embossing on the Lemon Lolly background was created with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Just Peachy
- Inks: Lemon Lolly, Timid Tiger, Pecan Pie
- Cardstock: Lemon Lolly, Pecan Pie, Basic White
- Tools & Accessories: Exposed Brick Embossing Folder, Linen Thread, Sweet Words & Labels Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Pecan Pie Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Lemon Lolly Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Emboss with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock cut with the largest label from the Sweet Words & Labels Dies. Stamp as follows:
- Peach base with Lemon Lolly Ink.
- Peach detail with Timid Tiger Ink.
- Peach pit with Pecan Pie Ink.
- Repeat to fill the whole white layer.
- Dotted image several times with Pecan Pie Ink on scrap paper first and without reinking on the white layer.
- Twine: Wrap the Linen Thread around the label twice and tie into a bow at the left. Glue layer to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Lemon Lolly Cardstock 2-3/4 x 5/8. Stamp the sentiment with Pecan Pie Ink. Cut the left end at an angle with Paper Snips. Glue over the twine with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
