Outgoing In Colors Theme With Wildflower Designs!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. May will be the onset of a new Annual Catalog. When that happens, 5 new In Colors are introduced and 5 In Colors also retire. Today’s blog hop is all about those 5 retiring In Colors:

You can see that I featured all 5 colors on my Basic White layer using 1/2″ strips of cardstock. I also embossed the whole layer with the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder once all of the strips were glued in place.


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: WildFlower Designs
- Inks: Moody Mauve, Boho Blue, Wild Wheat
- Cardstock: Moody Mauve, Boho Blue, Wild Wheat, Copper Clay, Pebbled Path, Basic White
- Tools & Accessories: Wildflower Designs Dies, Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Pebbled Path Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 4-3/4 x 3-1/2. Set aside.
- Layers 3: Use all 5 retiring In Colors 4-1/4 x 1/2. Glue all 5 strips at an angle on the white layer. Emboss with the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 4: Boho Blue Cardstock cut with the Wildflower Designs frame die 3-1/8″ long. Glue to the center of the white layer.
- Flowers and sentiment: Stamp and diecut on Basic White Cardstock as follows:
- Stamp one flower image with Wild Wheat Ink. Cut with the die. Glue to the label at the left with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp a second flower image with Moody Mauve Ink. Cut with the die. Glue to the label at the right with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp the sentiment with Pebbled Path Ink. Handcut around the wording with Paper Snips. Glue over the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls to the in color layers.
