Gold & Vanilla Christmas Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. This week, you are going to see lots of pretty cards using Gold & Vanilla. I love our vanilla cardstock but forget to use it. You can see how I used it as a card base, a single strip layer and on my snowflakes:
I also used gold embossing powder on the stamped sentiment and snowflakes:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Frozen Edges, Snowy Wonder
- Inks: VersaMark
- Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Gold Foil
- Tools & Accessories: Frozen Edges Dies, Exposed Bricks 3D Embossing Folder, Heat Tool, Metallics Embossing Powders, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Very Vanilla Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Gold Foil Sheets 5 x 3-3/4. Emboss with the Exposed Bricks Embossing Folder. Glue to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 3: Very Vanilla Cardstock 5 x 1-1/2. Stamp the sentiment at the left and snowflakes at the right with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with gold embossing powder. Melt the powder with a Heat Tool. Glue to gold layer about 3/4″ from the bottom.
- Snowflakes: Stamp 3 snowflakes on Very Vanilla Cardstock with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with gold embossing powder. Melt the powder with a Heat Tool. Cut with the dies and glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
