Favorite Mini Catalog Bundle!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. This week, our team is featuring what we consider our favorite bundle from the new Mini Catalog that debuts on January 7th. Being from Maine and how much I love lobster, I had to pick the Ocean Friends Bundle. See why?
Aren’t the layers and colors I used gorgeous? I used lots of layers by adding diecuts between some of the layers. The lobster was stamped with 2-step stampiong using Melon Mambo Ink both times:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Ocean Friends
- Inks: Melon Mambo, Summer Splash
- Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, Summer Splash, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Friends Of The Ocean
- Tools & Accessories: Ocean Friends Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Melon Mambo Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Friends Of The Ocean Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 1-3/4. Glue 1/4″ from the left side.
- Layer 3: Summer Splash Cardstock cut with the coral die. Glue upside-down towards the bottom.
- Layer 4: Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock cut with the leaves dies, 2 of each. Glue to both sides of the coral.
- Layer 5: Friends Of The Ocean Designer Paper 3-3/4 x 2-1/2. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Lobster: Stamp the bold image with Melon Mambo Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Stamp the detailed image over the bold image with Melon Mambo Ink. Glue to designer paper with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Summer Splash Cardstock 2-1/2 x 1/2. Stamp the sentiment with Summer Splash Ink. Glue over the lobster at the bottom.
- Bubbles: Stamp the bubbles on the card base around the other layers with Melon Mambo Ink.
- Bling: Add Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins around the bubbles.
