Easter Bunnies & Friends Theme!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends.  Easter is almost here and I think I’ve used the Easter Basket Bundle and the Easter Joy Designer Paper so much in the past few months. Here’s one more:

Since our theme this week is Easter Bunnies & Friends, I used all three animals that are included in the stamp set and cut them with the coordinating dies. So many pretty layers to play with too, to fill up my Easter basket:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

  • Stamps: Easter Basket
  • Inks: Pecan Pie
  • Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Peach Pie, Shy Shamrock, Basic Beige, Azure Afternoon, Pretty In Pink, Daffodil Delight
  • Designer Paper: Easter Joy
  • Tools & Accessories: Easter Basket Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Card Recipe:

  • Card Base: Shy Shamrock Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
  • Layer 2: Easter Joy Designer Paper 5-1/2 x 4. Glue to card base.
  • Basket: Use the die to cut the basket with Pecan Pie Cardstock. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Grass: Cut the grass using Shy Shamrock Cardstock with the die. Glue to the bottom of the basket.
  • Bunnies: Stamp one of each bunny on Basic Beige Cardstock with Pecan Pie Ink. Cut with the dies. Glue to the left overlapping the basket.
  • Bows: Use the bow die to cut 2 with Peach Pie Cardstock. Glue one to the top on the handle and one on the right side of the basket.
  • Eggs: Stamp the egg image with Pecan Pie Ink, 2 of each on Azure Afternoon, Pretty In Pink and Peach Pie Cardstocks. Cut with the die. Tuck and glue one egg between the bunnies and the rest inside the basket with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Chick: Stamp the chick image on Daffodil Delight Cardstock. Cut with the die. Tuck and glue inside the basket with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment with Pecan Pie Ink on Basic Beige Cardstock 1-1/4 x 3/8. Glue to the bow at the top of the handle.
