Deck The Halls Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. This week, our theme is Deck The Halls, to include trees on our projects. I created a Center Card Fold and used the tree images from the Grassy Grove Bundle:
You can see by the photo below, how the card opens in the center and the background layer is a flat layer:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Grassy Grove, Shepherds Care
- Inks: Garden Green, Soft Sea Foam
- Cardstock: Soft Sea Foam, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Take A Bow
- Tools & Accessories: Grassy Grove Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Adhesive-Backed Snowflake Assortment, Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
- Layer 2: Take A Bow Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Soft Sea Foam Cardstock 8-1/2 x 3. Score at 4-1/4. Fold and glue to the center of the card base.
- Layer 4: Take A Bow Designer Paper 4 x 2-3/4. Glue to small card front.
- Layer 5: Basic White Cardstock 2-3/4 x 2-1/4. Tear the cardstock off-center. Color the torn edges with Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. Layer and glue both pieces together. Glue to the bottom of the designer paper. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom with Garden Green Ink.
- Trees: Stamp the two tree images with Garden Green and Soft Sea Foam Inks. Glue the larger trees flat and tucked under the snow. Glue the smaller trees tucked under the snow and with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Adhesive-Backed Snowflake Assortment to the designer paper on the outside edges.
