Coloring Inside The Lines Theme!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. If you love to color, you’ll fall in love with our theme this week. We all chose stamp images to “Color Inside The Lines”. I chose to fill my diecut label shape with stamped leaves:

The beautiful leaf image that I repeatedly stamped is from the Lily Of The Valley Bundle and I used Stampin’ Blends to color all of them. Once that was done, I layered and layered and layered:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Lily Of The Valley
- Inks: Granny Apple Green
- Stampin’ Blends: Granny Apple Green
- Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Valley In Bloom
- Tools & Accessories: Lily Of The Valley Dies, Sweet Words & Labels Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Linen Thread, Shimmering Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Fresh Freesia Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Valley In Bloom Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 4. Set aside.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Follow these steps:
- Stamp the leaf image repeatedly with Granny Apple Green Ink.
- Color all of the leaves with Stampin’ Blends.
- Cut with the 4-5/8″ long label shape.
- Thread Linen Thread through the two bottom holes on each side and wrap around the designer paper layer. Tie into a bow at the right.
- Add Stampin’ Dimensionals under the label shape and press in place over the designer paper.
- Glue layers to card base.
- Abstract: Use the abstract die shape with Fresh Freesia Cardstock. Glue over the leaves at the bottom.
- Circle 1: Cut the larger circle using Granny Apple Green Cardstock with the 2-1/8″ circle die from Stylish Shapes Dies. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Circle 2: Cut the smaller circle using Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock with the 1-3/4″ circle die from Stylish Shapes Dies. Stamp the sentiment with Granny Apple Green Ink. Glue over the larger circle flat.
- Bling: Add Shimmering Dots to the white background.
