Christmas Trees Or Branches Theme!

Hello and welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. Our theme this week was to add a Christmas Tree or Branches to our card. I chose to add a gold-embossed Christmas tree to mine:

The gold embossing is so pretty when paired with the Modern Christmas Designer Paper, Traditional Sparkling Sequins and the Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Ornamental Christmas
- Inks: Coastal Cabana, VersaMark
- Cardstock: Coastal Cabana, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Modern Christmas
- Tools & Accessories: Nested Essential Dies, Traditional Sparkling Sequins, Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Metallics Embossing Powders, Heat Tool
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Coastal Cabana Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom right with Coastal Cabana Ink. Set aside.
- Layer 3: Modern Christmas Designer Paper 4 x 3-1/2. Cut an an angle from 3-12″ on the bottom left to 1-1/2″ from the top right. Glue to white layer. Set aside.
- Ribbon: Wrap the ribbon around the white layer below the designer paper and secure to the back. Glue white layer to card base.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock cut with the 4-1/4″ long die from Nested Essential Dies. Stamp the tree image with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with gold embossing powder. Melt the powder with the Heat Tool. Glue to card front at the left with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Traditional Sparkling Sequins to the white background.
