Casing Designer Debbie Henderson!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. For the next few weeks, you are going to see our design team casing each other. Casing means “copy & share everything” or “copy and selectively edit”. We choose a previous card that was posted to our blogs for inspiration and get to work with a new project.
I’m first on the list so I’m casing myself and this is the card that I chose to case:

I used the same layout but added different elements and layers and the card below is what I came up with. The Ocean Friends Bundle and Friends Of The Ocean Designer Paper worked so well with the card layout:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Ocean Friends
- Inks: Pool Party, Azure Afternoon, Blueberry Bushel
- Cardstock: Berry Burst, Pool Party, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Friends Of The Ocean
- Tools & Accessories: Ocean Friends Dies, Sunny Day Iridescent Dots, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Berry Burst Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Friends Of The Ocean Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Friends Of The Ocean Designer Paper 4-3/4 x 1. Use Paper Snips to cut the right end at an angle. Glue to card base about 1″ from the bottom.
- Layer 4: Azure Afternoon Cardstock cut with the coral die. Glue to the left over the designer paper banner.
- Lobster: Stamp the lobster outline with Boho Blue Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Stamp the inside image with Pool Party Ink. Cut with the die and glue over the coral at an angle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Crab: Stamp the crab outline with Blueberry Bushel Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Stamp the inside on scrap paper first using Blueberry Bushel Ink and without reinking, over the crab outline. Cut with the die and glue to the right of the coral at the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Pool Party Cardstock 3-1/4 x 1/2 with Blueberry Bushel Ink. Cut the right end at an angle with Paper Snips. Glue over the lobster.
- Bling: Add Sunny Day Iridescent Dots to the designer paper background.
