Black & White Theme!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. The team is designing with Black & White only this week. How easy is that? Easy with beautiful Stampin’ Up! products right?

I started out by choosing a designer paper print from the Botanical Textures Designer Paper and add layers of butterflies. Black for the base of each butterfly and white for the detailed layers:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Beautiful Butterflies
- Inks: Memento Black
- Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Botanical Textures
- Tools & Accessories: Beautiful Butterflies Dies, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Basic Black Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Botanical Textures Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to card front.
- Butterflies: Cut 1 large and 2 small bases for each butterfly with Basic Black Carstock. Glue to card front with Stampin’Dimensionals.
- Butterflies: Cut 1 large and 2 small detailed butterfly with the dies and Basic White Carstock. Glue to each black butterfly base in the centers of each.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock with Memento Black Ink. Cut with the label die. Glue over the large butterfly.
- Bling: Add Rhinestone Basic Jewels to each butterfly.
