Pick Me Up Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Connie & Mary! Want a little pick-me-up today? I have the sweetest card to show you today that I used two stamp sets on and some pretty designer paper. We are all showing you cards with the “pick me up” theme.
These are the main products I used:
- Tropical Leaf Stamp Set
- Tropical Leaf Punch
- Rhino Ready Stamp Set
- Rhino Ready Dies
- Rain Or Shine Designer Paper
I am so in love with the rhino and leaf images. The designer paper is clear embossed and you can see how shiny the rain drops are in these photos:
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Pear Pizzazz Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.

- Layer #3: Rain Or Shine Designer Paper 5″ x 3-3/4″. Glue to card front.
- Leaves: Stamp and cut the following:
- 2 leaves with the bold stamp image using Soft Sea Foam Ink on Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
- 2 leaves with the lines leaf image using Pear Pizzazz Ink on Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
- Glue all four leaves at the bottom left corner, layered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Rhino: Stamp the rhino image on Gray Granite Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Color the nails with Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. Color the horn with a Blender Pen and White Ink. Color the bird with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers and the beak with Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. Cut with the die and glue to the top of the leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiments: Stamp both sentiments on Basic White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Cut close to the wording and glue to the leaves. The larger sentiment flat and the smaller sentiment with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
