On The Table Theme!
Welcome to a Saturday Blog Hop with our Create With Connie & Mary Design Team. This week we are all creating to a theme of “on the table”. I created a table with the In Good Taste Designer Paper at the bottom of my card base and then added some jars from the Jar Of Flowers stamp set and the Jar Punch. The jars are all sitting on my designer paper table. Make sense?
I love how my flowers turned out. They are so subtle and beautiful. I stamped with Soft Suede Ink and then colored with Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen, topped off with Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush.
Notice how sparkly my punch art jar is? I used the Ombre Specialty Paper in blue and oooh is it pretty!
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Just Jade Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer #2: In Good Taste Designer Paper 4-1/4″ x 3/4″. Glue 3/4″ from the bottom of the card base.
- Jar: Use the Jar Punch and the Ombre Specialty Paper (blue) to cut one jar. Set aside.
- Layer #3: Basic White Cardstock 4-1/4″ x 2-1/4″. Glue the punched jar to the white layer about 3/4″ from the left edge. Stamp the jar image on each side of the punched shape using Misty Moonlight Ink. Glue to card front above the designer paper.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment from the Badger Besties stamp set using Misty Moonlight Ink on p strip of Soft Suede Cardstock that is 4-1/4″ x 1/2″ wide and trim the ends using the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. Glue over the jars using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Flowers: Stamp the flower image on Basic White Cardstock with Soft Suede Ink. Allow to dry well and then color using Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen. Color all of the flower using Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. Hand cut with Paper Snips. Glue above the punched jar shape with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Matte Black Dots to the card base at the top and bottom.
- Twine: Wrap the black twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack above the designer paper twice and tie into a bow.
