Mini Catalog Boughs Of Holly!

Last week, I started my Casing The Catalog feature and if you missed it, you can find the first post HERE. I am once again using the Boughs Of Holly Suite this week, because I love the products in this suite. The products included are:

  • Leaves Of Holly Bundle (stamps & dies)
  • Natural Woven Ribbon
  • Textural Elements
  • Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper

And here is the card that I copied which you can see in the catalog top right corner:

The only thing I changed on my card is the ribbon. I substituted with the White 3/4″ Frayed Ribbon. Don’t you just love all of the details & layers?

Card Recipe:

  • Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
  • Layer #2: Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Glue to card base.
  • Layer #3: Basic White Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″. Follow these steps:
    • Stamp the holly leaves using Mossy Meadow Ink above and below where the ribbon will be glued. Some of the leaves are stamped twice without reinking for a lighter color.
    • Glue a 4-3/4″ ribbon with Tear & Tape.
    • Cut out the sentiment layer using the die with Basic White Cardstock. Stamp the sentiment in the center using Mossy Meadow Ink. Glue to card front centered over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • Use the twig dies to cut (4) with Early Espresso Cardstock. Tuck and glue under the top left corner and bottom right corner, 2 twigs.
    • Cut (2) detailed holly berries with the die and Soft Succulent Cardstock. Glue one above the sentiment layer and one below.
    • Add Iridescent Pearl Jewels to the background.

I will have another catalog feature next week!
