It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Connie & Mary! It’s so hard to believe December is only a few days away and it’s time to really start thinking of Christmas. I used the Sweet Candy Canes Bundle for today’s project:
My candy canes are actually cut right from the Sweetest Christmas Designer Paper. The only stamping you see on my card is the sentiment. I tied the candy canes together with some red ribbon from the Real Red & Garden Green 3/8″ Ribbon Combo Pack.
I also added two layers of designer paper to my card base:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Sweet Candy Canes
- Inks: Garden Green
- Designer Paper: Sweetest Christmas
- Cardstock: Basic White, Garden Green
- Tools & Accessories: Candy Canes Dies, Real Red & Garden Green 3/8″ Ribbon Combo Pack, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Banners Pick A Punch
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Garden Green Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer #2: Sweetest Christmas Designer Paper 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer #3: Sweetest Christmas Designer Paper 4-1/4″ x 3″. Glue to card front centered.
- Candy Canes: Cut two candy canes from the Sweetest Christmas Designer Paper and the Candy Canes Dies. Glue candy canes together in the center and tie the ribbon around the center into a double knot. Glue candy canes to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White that measures 3-3/4″ x 3/4″ with Garden Green Ink. Cut the ends with the Banners Pick A Punch and glue over the candy canes, adding Stampin’ Dimensionals on the ends.
