I demonstrated at a workshop for Anne & friends a week or so ago. Since we were still in the month of May, I used 3 stamp sets that carried into the new catalog that started on June 1st. The girls wanted to order one last time from the expiring catalog.
The first card is a shaped card that I created using the Envelope Punch Board:
My card base Emerald Envy Cardstock which is 11″ x 4-1/4″, scored at 5-1/2″ and folded. Insert the card base into the Envelope Punch Board at 4″ and punch. For the Whisper White Cardstock layer I cut a piece measuring 4″ x 5-1/2″ and again punched with the Envelope Punch Board at 4″. Adjust the two ends by placing the notched layer where it belongs and penciling where you should cut.
The stamp set I used on this card is the In The Meadow:
For Card #2, I used the Picture Perfect stamp set. I was so happy that this one carried over to the new catalog. I didn’t have a chance to use this stamp set much and I love all of the images included in the set:
I also showed the girls how to add a drop of Tombow Multipurpose Glue and mix in a few drops of water with the Aqua Painter. I then flicked the watered-down glue over the stamped layer and sprinkled Silver Stampin’ Glitter that stuck to this mixture. It looks awesome in real life:
The last card for the workshop was this one that all of the attendees created to take home with them using the Remarkable You stamp set:
We used the Gold Wink Of Stella to flick some color onto the flower. It’s gorgeous!
