Two Gorgeous Cards With One Sheet Of Hot Foil!
If you’ve been following Stampin’ Up!’s new Stampin’ Hot Foil System products, you may have heard about our new Reverse Hot Foil Die. Let me back up for a minute. If you’ve hot foiled at all, you know how we like to repurpose everything right? Stampers hate to throw anything away. So, you go ahead and hot foil like I did in the first photo below…..keep reading….
You remove the foil sheet with fabulous results on your choice of material, and of course you don’t want to throw away the foil layer that stays behind, no. Why? Because it has this neat left-over design and there must be something you can do with it, right? In comes the new Reverse Hot Foil Die. See that grayish flat rectangular metal in the 2nd photo above at the top left? That’s the Reverse Hot Foil Die. How do you use it? First, look closely at the details below from both photos:
You can see in the first photo that the flowers are all lined images. When you hot foil with the leftover foil sheet, the flowers are filled in as you see on the 2nd photo. That’s because the 2nd image is the “reverse”. How neat is that? That means you get two cards, two uses……out of one Hot Foil Sheet!
