We Are All Jumping Into Fall This Month!
Good evening and welcome to our Stampers Dozen September Blog Hop! We have so much fall inspiration for you today that you’ll want to run to your stamp room to create! I used a really neat layout for my card:
If you don’t know by now, I love our Stampin’ Up! Inked Botanicals Designer Paper. I’m going to have to order another package of this paper soon because I’ve used it so much! I added some beautiful diecuts and stamped images to my Vellum Cardstock circle layer from the Season Of Chic stamp set and Chic Dies.
I stamped three leaves with tone-on-tone color and then added three diecut leaves on top. I also added some pretty ribbons. Here’s the card recipe and product list:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Season Of Chic
- Inks: Lost Lagoon, Pool Party, Lemon Lime Twist
- Cardstock: Lost Lagoon, Pool Party, Lemon Lime Twist, Pebbled Path, Basic White, Vellum
- Designer Paper: Inked Botanicals
- Tools & Accessories: Chic Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots, Ribbon Duo Combo Pack, Real Red & Garden Green 3/8″ Ribbon Combo Pack, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Lost Lagoon Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: Pebbled Path Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Set aside.
- Layer 3: Inked Botanicals Designer Paper 4″ x 3-1/4″. Place the 3-1/4″ at the top and cut diagonally down to 1-3/4″ from the left. Glue to layer 2 even at the left edge.
- Ribbon: Wrap a piece of the Garden Green Ribbon where the designer paper meets the cardstock and glue to the back.
- Ribbon: Wrap a piece of the Ribbon Due Combo Pack ribbon above the green ribbon and glue to the back. Glue to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Vellum: Cut a 2-1/2″ circle with the circle die from Stylish Shapes Dies and Vellum Cardstock. Glue to card front on the cardstock layer.
- Leaves: Add leaves to the Vellum circle as follows:
- Stamp one leaf on Lost Lagoon Cardstock with Lost Lagoon Ink. Cut with the die. Glue with Stampin’ Dimensionals in the center of the circle.
- Stamp one leaf on Pool Party Cardstock with Pool Party Ink. Cut with the die. Glue with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the left of the Lost Lagoon leaf.
- Stamp one leaf on Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock with Lemon Lime Twist Ink. Cut with the die. Glue with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the right of the Lost Lagoon leaf.
- Diecut one leaf with Garden Green Cardstock. Glue over the stamped leaves.
- Diecut two leaves with Basic White Cardstock. Glue over the stamped leaves.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment of Basic White Cardstock 3-1/2″ x 1/2″ with Lost Lagoon Ink. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the background.
