Sale-A-Bration Party’s On!
Hello and welcome to our Stamper’s Dozen February Blog Hop. We are so glad you are here visiting with our team. For the month of February, we are all using products from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure to continue the party! Sale-A-Bration ends on February 28th.
The Pick-A-Season stamp set is a Sale-A-Bration set you can earn for free with a $60 purchase. I used some of the images to create a scenery. I also used Blending Brushes to add a little bit of color at the top of the layer and at the bottom.
The designer paper layer from the Toadstool Gardens Designer Paper has a pretty pattern and you can earn the paper for free as well.
All Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Pick-A-Season
- Inks: Azure Afternoon, Old Olive, Pecan Pie
- Cardstock: Azure Afternoon, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Toadstool Gardens
- Tools & Accessories: White 1/4″ Ribbon, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Blending Brushes, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Azure Afternoon 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Toadstool Designer Paper 4-1/4 x 3. Glue at an angle to card base, at the top left.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 4-1/4 x 3. Stamp the following:
- Stamp the tree leaves using Old Olive Ink and without reinking, move the image slightly and stamp over the 1st image.
- Stamp the trunk of the tree with Pecan Pie Ink.
- Stamp the grass image a few times with Old Olive Ink.
- Stamp the hearts inside the tree and on the designer paper with Azure Afternoon Ink.
- Use a Blending Brush to add Old Olive Ink at the bottom and Azure Afternoon Ink at the top.
- Glue to card front at an angle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on a 1/4″ wide strip of Azure Afternoon Cardstock. Trim the left end into an angle with Paper Snips. Glue to card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the hearts on the tree.
- Ribbon: Tie the ribbon into a knot and glue below the sentiment.
