Best Butterflies Bundle!
Good Morning! So most of you know about my love of butterflies right? When our Stamp til’ You Cramp Group met last weekend, I had set up a Shoebox Swap for one of our events during our day-long gathering. We meet every other month and bring projects to work on plus food for a potluck. I decided to use the Best Butterflies Bundle for my swap card.
What exactly is a Shoebox Swap?
It’s when everyone that participates creates and completes one card before our event. I then tell everyone how many are participating, and we all create kits for each person to use to replicate the card. I usually tell them to try to create a 10-minute card. You can see that I used a wicker basket for my shoebox. Inside you will find:
- Stamp set that I used, two this time
- Kits for everyone to include the card base and all the cardstock layers needed
- Ink needed
- Tools needed
- Embellishments needed (or ribbon if using ribbon)
- Stampin’ Dimensionals
- And my completed card as a guide.
- Some even include step-by-step directions, optional
Once we are ready to start, we place our shoebox in front of us. I then tell everyone to pass their shoeboxes to the right. Everyone creates from that shoebox. We wait until everyone is done and then we pass to the right again and repeat until all cards are created. We had 8 participants, and I will be showing you each card that we created in the next few days. Today I am showing you mine:
I used butterfly products:
- Best Butterflies stamp set
- Build A Butterfly Dies
- Butterfly Kisses Designer Paper
I also added some embossing with the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder on the white layer. Colors used are Calypso Coral, Pretty Peacock, Fresh Freesia and Basic White! I hope you like my card!
