Group Card Swap!
A week ago this past Saturday, our Stamp til’ You Cramp Group met and hosted our annual Christmas feast. Our group of 10 meets every other month for a full day of papercrafting, potluck food and socializing. In December we always throw in extra group activities. This year we all created cards for a non-Christmas card swap and we also had a fun ornament swap. I showed you my swap cards a few days ago and you can see that I made 10 of these:
You can find the how-to HERE. Three of our girls were under the weather so were not able to attend but one had her swap cards all created so I swapped for her. These are the cards I received during our swap and I included the designers name on each card photo:
These are all of the beautiful ornaments we received during our ornament swap. We had such a good time doing this group activity. I read the Left-Right game and we passed the gift-bagged ornament until the end and whatever was in our hands at the time, was our ornament to keep:
How ironic that mine ended up being the one with the pair of cardinals. This will always remind me of my hubby Dave. And of course the potluck food, which was a Christmas feast including turkey and Christmas Punch (I made the punch and deviled eggs):
What was so neat is that out of the 7 of us that attended, we were spread out with only three names. There were three Debbie’s, 2 Cynthia’s and 2 Gloria’s. We paired up for photos by name:
Thanks girls for a wonderful time as always. Due to the winter months, we won’t meet again until April. What type of group activities do you participate in?
