Driving By Meets the Layering Diorama Dies!
Good Afternoon and welcome to Day #3 featuring two Sale-A-Bration products. All week I am using the Driving By stamp set and the Marbleous Designer Paper. Both products are available to earn for free until February 28th during Sale-A-Bration. Let’s take a closer look at my card:
I started out by laying 3 strips of designer paper on the Basic White Cardstock layer and then added two layers cut with the Layering Diorama Dies. I love the shape of these dies and the set comes in such a large assortment of dies.
Notice the image of the car? I stamped it twice. Once on Basic White Cardstock and then again on the Marbleous Designer Paper. I hand-cut the designer paper image and glued it to the white image. Doesn’t it look cool?
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Smoky Slate Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer #2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer #3: Cut three strips of the Marbleous Designer Paper to measure 5″ x 1-1/2″. Glue them all layered over the white layer as shown.
- Layer #4: Smoky Slate Cardstock cut with the Layering Diorama Dies. Glue to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer #5: Basic White Cardstock cut with the Layering Diorama Dies of the same size. Glue over the gray diecut.
- Car Image: Using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, stamp the car image on Basic White Cardstock and Marbleous Designer Paper. Cut out the card body only from the designer paper and glue over the white image. Hand-cut the whole car image on the white cardstock. Color the gifts using Smoky Slate and Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blends Markers. Glue oer the diecut shape on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Balmy Blue Cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Cut with the Rectangle Stitched Dies. Glue below the car, adding dimensionals to the right end and adhesive on the left end.
- Bling: Add Resin Stars Embellishments to the background.
