Splendid Day Suite

Stamp Set, Die Set, Designer Paper, Ribbon and More!

One thing that I like to do when new products arrive from one of my orders, is to copy some of the project samples in the catalog. Today’s project is so perfect to show you all of the components in our Splendid Day Suite. I love when Stampin’ Up! offers suites because you use one catalog item number and it puts all of the suite components on your order. It’s pretty slick!

I love the little half-circle die shape for my sentiment. And one thing about the Splendid Day Designer Paper, it has beautiful foil patterns on one side. The product colors that are included on the paper are: Calypso Coral, Fresh Freesia, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Sahara Sand, Soft Sea Foam

Card Recipe:

• Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
• Layer #2: Splendid Day Designer Paper 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Glue to card front.
• Ribbon: Cut a piece of ribbon to measure 4-3/4″ long. Trim both ends at an angle. Glue horizontally in the center of the card front. I used Tear & Tape.
• Layer #3: Stamp the sentiment on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock using Fresh Freesia Ink. Cut with the half-circle Die. Glue over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Layer #4: Stamp the sentiment on Fresh Freesia Cardstock using Fresh Freesia Ink. Cut close to the wording. Glue with Stampin’ Dimensionals and layer over the half-circle.
• Branch: Cut (1) branch with the dies and Parakeet Party Cardstock. Glue tucked under the half-circle on the left.
• Bee: Stamp the bee image on Basic White Cardstock using Fresh Freesia Ink. Cut with the die and glue over the branch using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Bling: Add (1) Open Leaf Trinkets tucked under the sentiment and layered over the branch.
