Not Only Do I Make Projects with Paper, I Also Paint With Acrylics!
Yes I paint! When my hubby Dave passed away from cancer a little over two years ago, I needed to keep my head busy so I wouldn’t do so much thinking. I used to paint maybe 30 years ago, so I decided to take it up again. The winters in Maine are sometimes long when we get lots of snow and lots of below zero temperatures. For those that don’t have hobbies, it must be difficult. I can’t imagine.
I thought it would be neat to share a few of my paintings with you from the past two years today and I’ll sneak more posts sporadically here and there.
I’ve had a few people tell me I should start teaching “paint & sip” style parties and I’m actually hosting one the first week of October. I’ll show you a little later what we will be painting. I am also getting ready for a craft fair at the end of this month so as you can see, I’m keeping super-busy!
