A Gathering For Senior Citizens!

I love going to our local Putnam House Senior Center to create cards with them each month. We got so busy creating this month that I forgot to take photos of each person in attendance with their completed projects. I had told them last month that we would start creating a Christmas project each month until December.
We started out with a birthday card and a few of them were excited because they had family members celebrating birthday’s soon. I used the Hand Penned Designer Paper, Hand-Penned Petals Bundle and the Tailored Tag Punch. I cut all the pieces ahead of time since we only have about an hour to get two projects completed.
For the 2nd project, I showed how to stamp a collage of beautiful images on the background layer and to add a cardstock strip for the sentiment in the center. We also used the Christmas Season stamp set and an assortment of ink colors.
Because this is a class for fun, I am using some retired products that I have on hand such as cardstock and embellishments. I hope you enjoyed both cards and I am anxious to meet up with this group again next month!

Debbie,
I’m curious to know how you handle the Senior card classes. Do you go to a Nursing Home? Do you charge anything or just volunteer your time & supplies? I’m interested in doing something for seniors in the Waterville area, but not sure how to go about it. There is a Senior Center in this area.
Thanks for your input!
