Highlighting an Embossed Image!
Good Morning! Today I am showing you a simple technique of highlighting a stamped and embossed image. This is Day 4 using the Apple Harvest Bundle. The Apple Blossoms Dies will debut on September 1st to coordinate with the stamp set.
I started out by stamping the image with VersaMark Ink and then sprinkling white embossing powder. I used my Heat Tool to melt the white powder and then got to work outlining the image with a Stampin’ Write Marker. You can see how the highlighting really makes the image pop:

Card Supplies
- Stamps: Apple Harvest
- Inks: VersaMark, Tahitian Tide, Pale Papaya Stampin’ Write Marker
- Cardstock: Tahitian Tide, Pale Papaya, Basic White
- Designer Paper: 2022-2024 In Color
- Tools & Accessories: Stampin’ Dimensionals, Heat Tool, Basics Embossing Powder, Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Tahitian Tide Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer #2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card front.
- Layer #3: In Color Designer Paper 5″ x 3-3/4″. Glue to card front.
- Layer #4: Pale Papaya Cardstock 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″. Stamp the image in the center using VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder and melt the powder with the Heat Tool. Trace the outside of the image with the Pale Papaya Stampin’ Write Marker. Glue to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock using Tahitian Tide Ink. Cut close to the lettering and glue to the bottom right corner of the stamped layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems to the background.
