A Regular Open Fence Card Fold!

Good Morning! As you can see in the photo above, I came up with and created 5 different ways to create open fence cards for you all week long. I called them all Open Fence cards because the colors from the card bases peek through the front.
Today’s card is a Regular Open Fence Card Fold and you can see the Granny Apple Green Cardstock that I glued on the inside peeking through to mimic grass:

Are you ready to create along with me? I have photo steps like I did with all of the cards I showed you. If you missed my earlier posts, you can click on the HOME button at the top and scroll to see them all.
Products Used:
- Stamps: Pansy Patch
- Inks: Highland Heather
- Cardstock: Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green, Copper Clay, Pool Party, Basic White
- Tools & Accessories: Pansy Dies, Brushed Brass Butterflies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips, Multipurpose Glue

Photo 1:
- Card Base: Pool Party Cardstock 7″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Copper Clay Cardstock strips: (3) 5-1/2″ x 1/2″ and (2) 2-1/2″ x 1/2″.
Photo2:
- Fold card base on score line with the shorter side on the front.
- Add adhesive to the bottom edge of the short end.
Photo 3:
- Press one of the long strips over the adhesive and even on all three ends.
- Add a drop of adhesive at 3/4″ on both end of the copper strip and press the two short pieces in place, making sure the bottom is even with the card base.

Photo 4:
- Flip the card base open to the inside and add adhesive to both strips at the bottom and again in the center. Press the two longer strips in place to complete the fence.
Photo 5:
- This is what your fence should look like.
Photo 6: Add diecuts, butterflies and a sentiment as follows:
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White 3-1/4″ x 1/2″ with Highland Heather Ink. Cut the right end into a banner. Glue about 1″ from the top and even with the left edge with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stems: (3) with Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- Petals (middle): (3) with Basic White Cardstock and glue to the stems
- Petals (back): (3) with Highland Heather Cardstock and glue to the back of the white petals
- Leaves: (3) with Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- Glue the flowers and leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the fence.
Add Brushed Brass Butterflies to the background and one to a leaf.
Inside of card base: One layer of Granny Apple Green Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 3″ and one layer of Basic White 5-1/4″ x 2-3/4″ glue to the top of the Granny Apple Green layer.
I hope you have enjoyed all 5 of my Open Fence Cards! Make sure you try all 5 of them because they simply are quite easy to replicate! Thanks for visiting with me!
