A Portrait Easel Open Fence Card Fold!

Good Morning! I have another Open Fence Easel Card today, but this time in portrait mode. If you’ve missed my three other Open Fence Cards so far, click on the HOME button above so you can scroll to view them.
Below are a few more card views before I get into the steps to create one:

This card does fold flat for mailing and these are the products used:
- Stamps: Pansy Patch
- Inks: Highland Heather
- Cardstock: Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green, Copper Clay, Pool Party, Basic White
- Tools & Accessories: Pansy Dies, Brushed Brass Butterflies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips, Multipurpose Glue

Photo 1:
- Card Base: Pool Party Cardstock 10-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Score at 2-1/2″ on each end and fold.
- Cut (4) Copper Clay Cardstock strips to measure 4-1/4″ x 1/2″ (there are only 4 showing in the photo, oops).
- Cut (2) Copper Clay Cardstock strips to measure 4″ x 1/2″.
Photo 2:
- Open the card base to the front and flat.
- Glue one of the longer Copper Clay Cardstock strips to one end.
Photo 3:
- Cut one end of each of the two shorter strips into a banner shape.
- Fold the flap over in the closed position.
- Add a dot of adhesive at the 3/4″ mark from the edge on the Copper Clay strip that was glued to the card base end on the front.

Photo 4:
- Press the two banner-shaped strips to the dots of glue, making sure the strips are even with the scored line at the end of each strip as a guide.
Photo 5:
- Flip the card flap to the back side, add glue to the ends of each banner and press a longer cardstock strip even with the ends and centered.
Photo 6:
- Flip the card flap back to the inside and glue a strip in the center.
- Add adhesive spaced evenly above and below the strip that was just glued down.
- Glue the two remaining strips.

Photo 7:
- This is what your card front should look like.
Photo 8 & 9: Decorate with (4) pansy buds and leaves as follows:
- Stems: (4) with Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- Petals (middle): (4) with Basic White Cardstock and glue to the stems
- Petals (back): (4) with Highland Heather Cardstock and glue to the back of the white petals
- Leaves: (7) with Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- Tuck and glue the flowers and leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the fence. A few of the leaves that are tucked are glued flat.
Add Brushed Brass Butterflies to the fence and one to a few leaves.
I’ve got one more card to show you in a few days to finish off my Open Fence cards! Make sure you come by to visit. Thanks for visiting with me today!
