I hope you have enjoyed all five straight days of my projects featuring the Hello Irresistible Collection. I have another new project today using this collection. Look at this pretty card for today:

The section on the very front opens up to reveal a 2nd flap that also opens up. The flower on the front is heat embossed and watercolored with a Water Painter. You can see all of the layers and the card in the open position in the photos below:

When you cut the card base for the first layer, you’ll have enough from your cardstock piece to cut the 2nd layer so one sheet of cardstock is all you need.

Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Flirty Flamingo
Designer Paper: Hello, Irresistible Designer Paper
Tools & Accessories: Irresistible Dies, Loose Frosted Dots, Basics Embossing Powder, Water Painters, Heat Tool

Card Recipe:

Card Base: Basic Black Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. On the first section, cut diagonally from the score line at the right corner down to the left hand corner to create the angle.
Inside Layer: Hello, Irresistible Designer Paper 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to the inside.
Front Layer: Hello, Irresistible Designer Paper 5″ x 3-3/4″. Cut diagonally and glue one piece to the front.
Card Base #2: Basic Black Cardstock 8″ x 3″. Score at 4″ and fold on the scored line. Glue to the inside designer paper layer in the center.
Inside Layer: Basic White Cardstock 3-3/4″ x 2-3/4″. Stamp the flower image on three sides with Flirty Flamingo Ink. Glue to the inside.
Outside Layer #1: Basic White Cardstock 3-3/4″ x 2-3/4″. Stamp the sentiment to the right with Tuxedo Black Ink. Set aside.
Layer #2: Using Flirty Flamingo Cardstock, cut the border die. Use part of the diecut and glue on each side of the sentiment on the white layer. Stamp the dotted image at the bottom. Glue to card base.
Flower: Stamp the flower on Basic White Cardstock with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle White Embossing Powder and melt with the Heat Tool. Use a Water Painter and add Flirty Flamingo Ink to the flower. Wipe off excess with a towel. Cut the flower with the die and glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Bling: Add Loose Frosted Dots around the flower.
