The Theme Was PJ Mask and I Didn’t Even Know What That Was!

I had to look up PJ Mask to see what is was. Grammie didn’t have a clue. It’s a superhero children’s television series and I got to watch a little of it last time I visited. I knew that Kylee had picked this as her birthday theme and was a little puzzled when it came to creating a card. I spied a few on Pinterest and kind of combined a few ideas to come up with this card.
For the Real Red Cardstock layer, I penciled in a square shape on the back and then cut a heart from the Heart Punch Pack to trace the bottom portion of the heart on each side of my cardstock piece. The eyes are also hand-cut and I used some small retired punches for the eyeballs.

Once the eyes were in place, I glued the red layer to the front of a Crumb Cake Cardstock base and got busy with my Water Painters to add the watercolored black lines and then I highlighted with Stampin’ Blends Markers. The red PJ Mask is Kylee’s favorite. You can see in the photo below that the red one is a female superhero:

Her cake was made by my niece Kim who has a cake decorating business. She does such a fabulous job with all of her cakes. Happy 5th birthday Kylee! Grammy loves you so much!

You are so amazing when creating cards.. just adorable
Wow, what a fabulous job making this card! I’ve had to use Pinterest to find Star Wars figures to make cards for some of my grandsons, so I know it’s not an easy task, but you did a fantastic job! I’ve not heard of that character, either! Guess some of us are just too old to know what is COOL! ha!
