And A Card For Kitty Using Love Cats!
Ozzie is home! I picked him up yesterday. I had to wait 2 weeks because the first week he arrived, he was quarantined awaiting vaccinations and feline testing. He had just arrived at the facility when I visited. All test results were perfect. A week later he was scheduled to be neutered, which was this past week. I picked him up yesterday and he has done extremely well already.
His given name at Ark Animal Sanctuary was Louie and since he only had the name for 2 weeks, I opted to change it to Ozzie! Isn’t he handsome? I love his little black nose!
I chose him because he’s young and mostly because when I entered the room, he came right to me and was so cuddly. The vet has estimated him to be six months old.
When I created today’s card this past week before Ozzie arrived home, I was trying to envision his coloring but couldn’t remember exactly what he looked like. Because he was new to the shelter and being quarantined prior to being vaccinated, he was not advertised on their website and I arrived and picked him out as the one I wanted so his photo was never added to their website. I knew he had a lot of white with some gray & black, so I opted to create a gray kitty for my card.

As a cat lover and mom to three rescue cats (Eleanor, General Catton and Butterscotch), I applaud you for adopting a rescue. Ozzie is indeed a handsome boy and looks so cuddly.
