So far I have shown you a few projects using the new Irresistible Blooms Collection. I thought I would mixed things up a bit today by showing you a 3D project that I created. It’s a double-sided tea bag holder:

I took photos of each step but before I explain, here are a few more photos of the details and then we’ll move on to a tutorial. You can see that I used the Naturally Guilded Specialty Designer Paper which is so pretty with the foiled designs:

You can choose to use the Silver Foil, Gold Foil or Copper Foiled sheets. Note that I flipped the sheet over to the white side after I scored so you could see it better:

Start with the Naturally Guilded Specialty Designer Paper measuring 12″ x 8-1/2″. Score on the 8-1/2″ side at 2-1/2″ on each end.

Rotate to the 12″ side and score at 1-1/4″, 2-1/2″, 5″ and 6″ on both ends. The 6″ score line will be shared by both ends.

Using Paper Snips, cut off the 4 squares on each corner.

Fold each corner using a Bone Folder as shown in the photo.

This time fold up the bottom portion as shown.

Repeat the fold for the top portion.

Fold the whole piece in half as shown with the scored lines (skip the center score line for now. Press with the Bone Folder.

Fold the top flap over on both ends and glue in place. Fold the bottom portion as shown in the 2nd photo above.

Use a 1/4″ Handheld Circle Punch and punch through both layers at the top, adding two holes. Thred ribbon through the holes and tie into a bow. I used the 1/2″ Metallic Mesh Ribbon.

Decorate the front as you like using the Irresistible Blooms Collection. I added two tea bags in each pocket. Depending on how thick your tea packets are, you may only be able to fit one in each pocket.
