A Catalog Case and a Card Fold!
The Hats Off Bundle was used during one of my most recent Afternoon Team Time & a Card Classes on my Stamp & Ink Designs Facebook Group. I had created these cards well in advance of losing my hubby to cancer. Dave almost always had a hat on. To me, it was not Dave without his hat and I remember thinking that these two cards were Dave cards.
I’ll tell you a little secret. As you come into our front door, we have a huge hall tree bench that Dave made with pegs for hats and coats. The last few hats that Dave wore are still hanging on those pegs along with his jacket and sneakers on the floor. I can not bring myself to do anything with his clothing. I still expect him to come walking through that front door at any moment.
So I remember quite clearly when I made these two cards, they were Dave’s hats. This first card is a Pull Out Card Fold and I incorporated the In Good Taste Designer Paper:
The second card is one that I cased (Copy and Shared Everything) from our Annual Catalog. I love copying some of the cards in the catalog when I’m limited on time or ideas:

Never worry about what others think or say…..let those “hats” hang forever if you wish and it
bring a happy smile to your face. It was 10 years or more before my mom cleared out my dad’s clothing, but always wears his wedding ring on a chain around her neck. To each his own. 🙂
