Today I have another card I had created and used the wrong theme so I kept it aside to use on my blog. If you missed yesterday’s post, I explained why I goofed HERE.
I used the Enchanted Butterfly stamp set along with the Artistically Inked Distressed Tile Embossing Folder for my card. The flower was stamped twice without reinking for a lighter color on one flower. I also stamped and handcut the butterfly twice and stacked them for this look:
Here are my steps:
- Card Base: Boho Blue Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer 2: Soft Sea Foam Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Emboss with the Artistically Inked Distressed Tile Embossing Folder. Glue to card front.
- Layer 3: 2023-2025 In Color Designer Paper 4″ x 1-3/4″. Glue to card front about 1-1/2″ from the top.
- Flowers: Stamp (2) flowers without reinking with Crushed Curry Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Handcut with Paper Snips and glue to card front flat.
- Leaves: Stamp (4) leaves on Soft Sea Foam Cardstock with Shaded Spruce Ink. Handcut with Paper Snips. Tuck and glue two together on each end of the flowers flat.
- Butterfly: Stamp (2) butterflies with Boho Blue Ink on Boho Blue Cardstock. Handcut with Paper Snips and glue stacked with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Glue butterfly to the flowers flat.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock 3″ x 1/2″ with Shaded Spruce Ink. Trim the ends into a banner shape. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems to the background.
