Stamp & Ink Designs Group Fun!

This is Day 2 in my featuring all of the Trade Cards I received from a group swap. If you missed yesterday’s post HERE, I explained the group swap. Today I am featuring Deb Clark who is also a member of my team. I love how Deb embossed the stamped layer after she stamped her images. The embossing adds the perfect touch to make this so elegant:

Deb used the Christmas Season stamp set for the pretty floral arrangement and the Trees For Sale stamp set for the sentiment. The sentiment is so striking with it being fussy-cut close to the lettering.

You can see the embossed background on the white layer much better in the two photos above. I believe the embossing folder is a retired one.
I decided to add two strips of designer paper side-by-side from the Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper. The piece on the left measures 5-1/4″ x 2″ and the one on the right measures 5-1/4″ x 1-3/4″. Want a little tip to make it easy to be able to wrap the twine where the designer papers meet? Glue both pieces to a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock that measures 5-1/4″ x 3-3/4″. By gluing the strips on cardstock first, you are able to wrap the twine around and then glue the layer to the card front. The card base Is Cherry Cobbler.
