Gradient Stamping and Popping Pastels

November 20, 2022 2 Comments

Two Techniques For You Today!

Stampin Up Gradient Stamping and Popping Pastels Technique

As Stampin’ Up! demonstrators, we had the privilege to attend some online classes during the month of October. We all met once a week and used the Splendid Day Bundle all month long. I showed the cards to the members of my Stamp & Ink Designs group on Facebook, and they fell in love with two of them. They begged me for a live class to show them how to achieve both of the techniques used.

Card #1 uses our Soft Pastels Assortment along with VersaMark Ink. You may know this technique as Popping Pastels:

We used three colors to achieve this look but it could be done with just one, two or more!

Our 2nd card features blending inks with a Blending Brush to create this ink gradient look:

It’s so hard to believe this is only one layer of cardstock. Stamps, ink and paper or known as SIP!
