A Stamp Til You Cramp Group Shoebox Swap!

Every other month, I have a local group that we formed and call the Stamp Til You Cramp Girls that meet. We meet for an all day event. When our gathering happens in December, we all bring potluck food for a Christmas feast. I’ll show you photos at the end of my post.
We also participate in an ornament swap and a Shoebox Swap. The card you see above and below, was my Shoebox Swap card.

I used the Fluffiest Friends stamp set and added lots of layers. You can see that I highlighted the embossed sections of the beehive. All I did was use a black Stampin’ Write Marker and traced the embossing. Below are all of the shoebox containers that each person took along with them to our event:

What happens with a Shoebox Swap? All of the products used are inside each shoebox, along with card kits. Once seated, we place our shoebox in front of us and move the shoebox to the right. You create the card from the shoebox and once everyone finishes, we move the shoebox to the right again and start on the next one. It’s fun and a great way to make cards for your stash.
Below are a few photos of the feast (along with my kitty Ozzie’s footprints as he jumped on the table) and photos of the ornmant swap:

As you can see, we have a really good time. I would love to hear about any gatherings you attend with your stamping friends!

Wow, that all looked so fun! 🙂 Vickie
