Day 5 Friendly Hello Bundle!
First of all, Happy New Year’s Eve! A new year is almost here!
Today is Day #5 of the Friendly Hello Bundle that you’ll be able to earn for free starting January 4th. All catalogs have been mailed out from Stampin’ Up! so I hope yours have arrived safely. You should receive the new Mini Catalog and the new Sale-A-Bration Brochure.
If you look closely at the image in the center of my card, it comes from the Friendly Hello Designer Paper. The stamp set coordinates with some of the images so you can stamp direct to paper. All of the Misty Moonlight coloring that you see on the paper was stamped:
I even added a few extra leaves and branches. I love the striped layer of designer paper. I think it’s my favorite sheet from this package. If you look on page 13 of the Sale-A-Bration Brochure, you’ll find this card. I loved it so much that I copied it (cased).
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer #2: Friendly Hello Designer Paper 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Glue to card front.
- Layer #3: Vellum Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″. Glue to card front. TIP: I knew the center of the vellum would be covered with layers so I added my adhesive there where it would not show through.
- Ribbon: Glue the Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon as shown in the photo to the background.
- Layer #4: Choose a portion of the designer paper image and hand-cut. Stamp the flowers, leaves and branches direct to paper using Misty Moonlight Ink. Glue to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment using Fresh Freesia Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Cut with the Layering Circles Dies and glue to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add In Color Jewels to the background.
