Sketch Challenge Week And A Slimline Card!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends and we have a neat Sketch Challenge this week. It’s also all about Slimline cards:
I used a snowflake theme on my card with the Winter Adventure Bundle and the Winter Dreams Designer Paper. I also added some pretty Adhesive Backed Snowflakes to each diecut snowflake:
The snowflakes on the designer paper are so pretty and the 3 square layers allow the design to peek enough of the details:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Winter Adventures
- Cardstock: Coastal Cabana, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Winter Dreams
- Inks: Coastal Cabana
- Tools & Accessories: Winter Adventures Dies, Adhesive Backed Snowflakes, Tile Garden Dies, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Coastal Cabana Cardstock 6-1/2 x 7. Score at 3-1/2 on the 7″ side and fold.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 6-1/4 x 3-1/4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Winter Dreams Designer Paper 6 x 3. Glue to white layer.
- Squares: Use the Tile Garden Dies to cut three squares 1-5/8 x 1-5/8. Glue 1/4″ from the left side of the designer paper with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Leave a space between the first two squares for the sentiment.
- Snowflakes: Use the snowflake dies to cut 2 large and 4 small with Basic White Cardstock. Add a small snowflake to each large snowflake with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Glue snowflakes to each square with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Basic White Cardstock 3 x 3/8. Stamp the sentiment with Coastal Cabana Ink. Glue flat between to top 2 squares.
- Bling: Add Adhesive Backed Snowflakes to each snowflake.
