Sketch Challenge Week With Violet Dreams Designer Paper!

It’s Thursday Sketch Challenge week at Create With Stamping Friends and this is the sketch we are all using this week:

If you look closely at my card, the only stamping I have used is the sentiment. I actually have four different layers using the Violet Dreams Designer Paper. Even the lined flowers are from the designer paper:

I also use the Sweet Words & Labels Dies to cut two different shapes under my flowers:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Lily Of The Valley
- Cardstock: Gorgeous Grape, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Violet Dreams
- Inks: Secret Sea
- Tools & Accessories: Three Banner Punch, Sweet Words & Labels Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Gorgeous Grape Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Violet Dreams Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Violet Dreams Designer Paper (3 strips) 5-1/4 x 1/2. Glue to card front with 1/8″ spacing between strips.
- Layer 4: Violet Dreams Designer Paper cut with the label shape from Sweet Words & Labels Dies. Glue 3/4″ from the left side flat.
- Layer 5: Gorgeous Grape Cardstock cut with the label shape from Sweet Words & Labels Dies. Glue over the 1st label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Flowers: Pop 2 flowers from the designer paper and glue to grape layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock with Secret Sea Ink. Cut with the Three Banner Punch. Tuck and glue under and to the right of the grape layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
