Case The Catalog Week 4!
It’s our 4th week featuring Case The Catalog for the month of July at Create With Stamping Friends . This week, our inspiration comes from page 55 of our newest catalog. We can use the sample for inspiration in many ways:
- Same stamp set
- The colors
- The layout
- Or some combination of all of the above!
I went Clean & Simple using the same stamp set and I replicated the stamped and diecut layers:
For my colors I used Old Olive, Coastal Cabana and Basic White:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Relaxing Waterside
- Cardstock: Old Olive, Coastal Cabana, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Waterside Retreat
- Inks:Old Olive, Coastal Cabana
- Tools & Accessories: Relaxing Waterside Dies, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base:Old Olive Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Waterside Retreat Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to card base.
- Lawn Chair: Cut with the die and Coastal Cabana Cardstock. Glue to the left of the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Cup: Stamp the cup image with Coastal Cabana Ink. Stamp the inside of the cup with Coastal Cabana Ink on scrap paper first, and without reinking for a lighter ink color. Cut with the die and glue to the arm of the chair.
- Plant: Stamp the plant image with Old Olive Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Cut with the die. Glue tucked under the chair on the right side with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Basic White Cardstock 1-3/4 x 3/4. Cut the right end into a banner with Paper Snips. Stamp the sentiment with Old Olive Ink. Glue layered over the chair and even with the designer paper on the left.
