Create With Stamping Friends Challenge 927

July 2, 2026 Leave a Comment

Case The Catalog Month!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends and it’s an exciting time of year. In July of each year, we pick a sample from the newest Mini Catalog to “Case The Catalog”:

We can use the sample for inspiration in many ways:

  • Same stamp set
  • The colors
  • The layout
  • Or some combination of all of the above!

I decided to use the Framed Violets Bundle and copy the layout from the sample we are using this week:

The Framed Violets Bundle is one of those bundles that just makes you go WOW! And if you look closely at the Velvet Meadow Designer Paper, you’ll notice the white velvety flowers. They are raised and oh so soft:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

  • Stamps: Framed Violets
  • Cardstock: Peaceful Pine, Cloud Cover, Basic White
  • Designer Paper: Velvet Meadows
  • Inks: Peaceful Pine
  • Stampin’ Blends: Peaceful Pine, Cloud Cover
  • Tools & Accessories: Framed Violets Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Card Recipe:

  • Card Base: Peaceful Pine Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
  • Layer 2: Velvet Meadow Designer Paper 4-1/2 x 4-1/4. Glue to card base centered.
  • Layer 3: Cloud Cover Cardstock 2-3/4 x 3/4. Stamp the sentiment with Peaceful Pine Ink. Glue 1″ from the bottom and even at the left.
  • Flower Image: Stamp the flower image on Cloud Cover Cardstock with Peaceful Pink Ink. Color the leaves and the center of the flowers with Stampin’ Blends. Glue layered above the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Leaves & Stems: Use the dies to cut 2 stems and 2 of each leaf size with Peaceful Pine Cardstock. Glue the stems flat and the leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Flowers: Cut 3 with the flower die and Basic White Cardstock. Glue around the stamped image with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
