Now for a peek at our Color Challenge this week:

Aren’t these three colors very bright and springy? I’m so ready for spring. Although it hasn’t been a tough winter with snow in Maine, it has been cold so I’m ready for some warmer temps!

This card is Clean & Simple and I love the layered sentiments and the pretty papers:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

  • Stamps: Words Of Beauty
  • Cardstock: Summer Splash, Peach Pie, Azure Afternoon
  • Designer Paper: In Color, Lovely & Beautiful
  • Inks: Azure Afternoon
  • Tools & Accessories: Words Of Beauty Dies, Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots,

Card Recipe:

  • Card Base: Summer Splash Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
  • Layer 2: Azure Afternoon Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
  • Layer 3: In Color Designer Paper 3-3/4 x 1-1/4 and Lovely & Beautiful Designer Paper 3-3/4 x 3-1/2. Glue both pieces to card front leaving 1/4″ between the two designs.
  • Sentiment 1: Stamp the birthday sentiment on Peach Pie Cardstock with Azure Afternoon Ink. Cut with the label die. Glue at the bottom with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Sentiment 2: Cut the sentiment outline with Shy Shamrock Cardstock and cut the detailed sentiment with Azure Afternoon Cardstock. Glue both layers together. Glue above the first sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Bling: Add Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots to the designer paper background.
