Sketch Challenge Week With Fabulous Sayings!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends and we have this Sketch Challenge to follow this week:
I used some pretty colors to create the layers on my card. I had a completed watercolored panel sitting on my counter that I had dry embossed with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder and colored with my Water Painters. Since it was just sitting on my counter, I decided to cut it up and use it for 2 of my layers:
I love the gorgeous font with all of the sentiments included in the Fabulous Sayings stamp set, which is my focal image:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Fabulous Sayings
- Cardstock: Peach Pie, Lemon Lime Twist, Pecan Pie, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper
- Inks: Peach Pie, Lemon Lime Twist, Pecan Pie
- Tools & Accessories: 2-3/8 Circle Punch, Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder, Water Painters, In Color Flat Pearls, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Peach Pie Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. Emboss one sheet with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. Color the embossing with the 3 inks and Water Painters. Once dry, cut to measure 5-1/2 x 1-3/4. Glue to card front centered vertically.
- Layer 3: Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock 3-3/4 x 2-1/4. Glue 3/4″ from the left side with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 4: Cut the remaining Fluid 100 Watercolor layer to measure 3-1/4 x 2-1/4. Glue 3/4″ from the right side by adding Stampin’ Dimensionals to the right edge and flat on the remaining layer.
- Layer 5: Pecan Pie Cardstock stamped with Pecan Pie Ink. Cut with the 2-3/8 Circle Punch. Glue to card front cetnered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 6: Peach Pie Cardstock 2-3/4 x 1/4 Glue over the bottom of the cirlce and add Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to each end.
- Bling: Add In Color Flat Pearls to three layers.
